Cynthia A. (Smith) DeBolt

 Cynthia Ann “Cindy” Smith DeBolt age 65 of North Port, Florida passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at her home while under the care of hospice.

Cindy was born on January 13, 1961 in Cumberland, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Luther A. Smith and Rhea Keplinger Smith. 

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her sister, Ellen Smith and an infant brother, Jimmy Smith.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Charles O. DeBolt II and two step- sons, Charles O. DeBolt III and Curtis DeBolt and wife Casey and four step grandchildren, Charles O. DeBolt IV, Caden DeBolt, Mason DeBolt and Cayleigh DeBolt and also surviving are aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 Cindy was a graduate of Kenwood High School in Middle River, Maryland and worked in finance for a credit union until her retirement in 2012. Cindy loved to travel and loved all animals, especially her cats.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating. Cindy's family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Maysville Cemetery in Maysville, WV.
