Steven A. Hose

  Steven Allen “Punkin” Hose, age 54 of Fisher, WV passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at his home.

 Steve was born on January 30, 1972 in Petersburg, WV and was a son of Jonah Steven Hose and Shirley Mae (Wolfe) Hose of Moorefield, WV. 

Steve is survived by his parents, Steve and Shirley Hose of Moorefield, WV and his wife, Tracy M. (Paugh) Hose; one daughter, Kaitlyn Hose; one sister, Debra Hoover of Moorefield, WV and one brother, Christopher Michael Hose of Moorefield, WV; five nieces and father & mother-in-law, John & Eva Paugh of Fisher, WV

Steve attended Moorefield High School and worked for Pilgrim’s Pride for several years and later was employed by American Woodmark Corp until his illness. Steve loved to hunt and fish, but his passion was spending time with his wife and daughter.

 Steve was preceded in death by his first wife, Jeanette (Cullers) Hose.

Funeral service will be Monday, February 16, 2026 at 12 Noon at Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg, WV with Pastor Steven Snyder officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be in Kessel Cemetery.
